One Nine Hundred recorded their first 5 song Ep in 2000 with Grammy Nominated Engineer Mike Plotnikoff ( My Chemical Romance, P.O.D., Hoobastank) and played with the likes of Bif Naked, Robin Black, Black Halo?s, Queens of the Stone Age, , Noise Therapy, Quiet Riot, Sebastion Bach, Bulletboy?s, and they were also featured on many compilation.s ( Molson Canadian Indie Blast, Columbia Sportswear )
One Nine Hundred recorded their second album in 2002/03 with Grammy and Juno nominated producer and engineer Joey Moi ( Nickelback, Theory of a Deadman, Thornley, Default) once again sharing the stage with a number of signed Artist?s ( Finger Eleven, Nickelback, Theory of A Deadman, Three Day?s Grace, Damageplan, , Danko Jones ) Over the last couple of years One Nine Hundred have showcased at NXNE, CMW, New Music West. The band also won the CJAY 92?s Annual National Songwriting Competition, and were selected as a Finalist for Rock Album of the year at the Annual Independent Awards ( Indies) in Toronto . They played the Molson Canadian Snow Jam Festival, Warped Tour/Spin Records side Stage, and were the only unsigned band to be picked for the Molson DV8 Street Festival. With their new album they once again worked with Joey Moi but also brought in Producer and Songwriter Brian Howes ( Hedley, Hinder, Closure, DDT) to help them grow and take it to the next level. . Setting up shop at Chad Kroger?s Mountain View Studios in Abotsford B.C , the band wrote and recorded 8 new songs and decided to take some of the Earlies material and Demo?s ( now out of stock) and put out a 16 song CD, for all your listening pleasure.
