The Swedish band Shine was founded in 2002 and consists of only two members; Sebastian Roos (vocals, guitars, bass) and Anders Berlin (drums, keyboard).

Sebastian and Anders met already a couple of years before, when they both were studying music in Norrk?ping. But it wasn?t until the spring of 2000 that Sebastian called Anders and asked if he could play drums on some of his songs for a demo. The session was completed, but Anders was still living in Stockholm and playing with other bands. The following year Anders moved back to Norrk?ping and once again took contact with Sebastian, which lead to the birth of Shine. In early 2002, pre-production of the album began and at the same time a studio just outside of Norrk?ping began to take shape, owned by Sebastian and his father Ronnie.

Shine has been recording their debut-album since March 2003. The album is now completed and contains a mix of hardrock and pop music with a variety of other styles and genres.
