Stars Go Dim is pop-rock with passion. Tulsa-based and technically-savvy, the rockers shook up MySpace early in 2008 with an overwhelming amount of followers before any music was released publicly .Today, the Stars Go Dim fan-base continues to grow exponentially with numerous fan-voted awards such as CMT´s Listener´s Choice Award, and their popularity is only strengthened by debut performances that include opening slots on Switchfoot and Daughtry tour stops. With three Grammy nominated band members, Stars Go Dim is currently recording their debut project, "Love Gone Mad," slated for a summer 2008 release. With love-obsessed lyrics laced with catchy guitar riffs, a rockin´ rhythm section, and a soul singer, Stars Go Dim delivers a sound of old Memphis soul meets Maroon 5 and Mayer.

- For their musical debut, SGD was selected as the opening act for a stop on Switchfoot´s Up In Arms tour. Shortly after, SGD opened for American Idol-er Chris Daughtry.

- While producing the initial batch of songs, SGD offered visitors to its MySpace page a look into the creative process via video clips of the band in the studio. Through those snippets, and in just a few months, the band amassed a fanbase of more than 13,000 MySpace friends without ever posting a song.

- SGD tunes are currently playing throughout Buckle retail stores nationwide via DMX Music
- The band is spending several months on the Top 20 singles chart on AlternativeAddiction.com, which is one of the largest websites dedicated to Alt Rock, serving the 18-24 year-old crowd.

- Radio giant ClearChannel is currently streaming SGD tracks on its New Music site.

- Three of the four SGD members were 2008 Grammy nominated musicians for their contribution on an outside project, Pillar.

- In seven months, SGD received numerous awards, echoing its popularity in the online community:
- lead vocalist Chris Cleveland´s Top 5 Vocalist nod for Singer Universe
- a group runner-up slot in the 2008 Singer/Songwriter Awards for "Come Around"
- Top 5 finalist position in the popular fan-voted online Famecast contest
- Won the Country Music Television (CMT) and Nashville Songwriters Association International´s (NSAI) 8th Annual Listener´s Choice Award for the song "Come Around," the only non-country entry that advanced to final round. The group was voted number one out of 3,000 submissions.

- Nominee spot for the Independent Singer Songwriters Award (ISSA) Contest

- Song of the Year contest for "Get Over It" won the May Rock category

- Stars Go Dim won First Prize in the pop category for the Upstate New York Songwriting Contest hosted by Blackdog Recording Studios

- "Come Around" chosen as the grand prize winner in The 11th Cooch Music Amateur Songwriting Contest

- Several features in Tulsa´s media market including Good Morning Tulsa, New 9 This Morning, and Fox 23

- Performed alongside headliners Paramore, All-American Rejects, and The Roots at Tulsa´s D-Fest in July 2008
