Singer/songwriter Daniel Cage had a nomadic childhood, growing up in San Francisco, New York, and Stockholm, Sweden. The constant in his life at the time was his love of music, which included David Bowie, Neil Young, and Earth, Wind & Fire. This passion for music turned into a passion to make music, and Cage began writing songs and playing guitar while still in his teens. He spent part of the 90s with the Origin before releasing his debut album, Loud on Earth, in mid-2000 on MCA.
