With her smooth, versatile voice and contagious energy, 21-year-old Caroline Gulde is a breath of fresh air in the up and coming music scene. Caroline delivers the perfect blend of edgy rock and sassy pop with emotionally charged power, exceptional control, and startling maturity. Composed of an all male band and sisters backup vocals, Carolines act creates a sound that is as musically dynamic as it is unique. Caroline, with her endearing sassiness, vivacious personality, and poignant sensitivity, brings the music to life in a way that moves all listeners.

Caroline is a Massachusetts native and has been performing since the age of five. Carolines parents knew music was in her future ever since that day in 1983 when they heard their one-year old daughter accurately chime into the chorus of the hit "Break My Stride" from her car seat. Growing up, Caroline was a serious dancer and began finding her passion for music and performing at an early age. However, it wasnt until high school that Caroline truly showed anyone her singing ability. After being dragged to an audition for the school musical by her sister, she was cast in a lead role and thrown into a completely new and wonderful direction. It was around this time when Carolines love for music and singing truly blossomed. In 2001, she was accepted into the Drama Department at Syracuse University, where she studied as a musical theatre major for 2 ? years. During her time at college, Caroline began to spend time writing lyrics and longed to pick up a guitar. She knew that her musical interests were starting to shift in a new direction once again?

Everything fell into place in the summer of 2003 when Caroline auditioned for Boston-based producer/songwriter Andrew Koss. "When I met Caroline, I was introduced to a young singer who combined 3 of the most important qualities that I feel a singer must have to succeed. Caroline blends vocal talent, true and honest emotional sincerity, and above all an obvious passion and love for what she is doing. These 3 core qualities shine throughout every note she pours her heart into and I have yet to hear a note come from her that she hasnt put her whole heart into. She brings life to words and emotion to melodies in a way that is sure to touch any listener."

Over roughly an 8-week period, Caroline and Andrew recorded the demo album A Little Bit, and things took off from there. The CD got the attention of some very influential people in the music industry.

After spending four months in London this fall, Caroline decided to leave school in order to fully pursue her career. Work on her second album, Through-line, got into full swing in December, along with the formation of the band. Caroline co-writes her songs with Andrew and together they pride themselves on stretching lyrical and musical boundaries. Through-line was released in March 2004, and Caroline, along with her band, has begun to tour the Northeast. Caroline also remains busy with her producer as they continue to shop her demo to major record labels.
