Kai Brown
Kai Brown
Anyone who has been to Australia will tell you that its one of the most beautiful countries on earth, with stunning beaches, great cities and perfect weather. But singer-songwriter Kai Brown had to take the tough decision to leave all this behind - and his former band, the Tommy Flowers - and head Stateside to pursue a dream. Armed with only his guitar, he hooked up with producer and former Jackopierce frontman Cary Pierce, wrote some songs and recorded the album "Better Now". In this interview with Melodic.net, Kai talks about all things from having members of Vertical Horizon play on his album to the traffic in LA!

Kai Brown
Kai Brown
Original born down under but now a San Diego, California resident is solo artist KAI BROWN. His recent solo effort "Better Now" is really more than worthwile checking out. Its a fine melodic release in a mixture of Evan & Jaron and Brett Walkers recent material. I came across the work of this talented songwriter through his producer Cary Pierce who we all formerly know of the Dallas, Texas outfit Jackopierce (new comeback album expected this summer !). This "Better Now" release contains wonderful voice skills combined with fantastic harmonical hooks, check out songs like "Everyday","Goodbye, Goodnight","Cant Live Without" and the great titletrack ! I have a very strannge feeling this guy will become huge in the near future, maybe not this time but with his next effort he might become Aussies next Big thing that hails from down under San Diego !

Kee Marcello
Kee Marcello

Kee Marcello does not really need a big introduction, if you are familiar with the bands Europe, Easy Action and other act, you will know him. For me, growing up in Sweden in the 90s, Kee was a central part of Europe, playing on the albums Out of This World and Prisoners in Paradise. When Melodic.net got a chance to sit down with Kee, this was not something we would pass up. So, ladies and gents, withouut much further ado, the man, the legend, the guitar god: Keeeeee Maaaarcelloooo!
