Skillet have just released the title track off their forthcoming album, Rise, which is available June 25th. The song "Rise" is part of the band's first ever concept album, as singer John Cooper explains, "The narrative idea happened after we had 10 or 11 of the songs chosen. As we recorded them, we started to realize that there was something going on - that the album was really telling a story. Realizing that, I knew we needed to make it as powerful as we could."
The title track is available on iTunes now.
The band are also offering their die-hard fans the chance to hang out with them on tour via the "Road to Rise VIP Experience." For more info check out this video here.
Skillet will also be hitting the road this Summer on the Festival Circuit. Be sure to catch them at Rock on the Range, Alive, Creation East, and Rock the Park this summer.

Five Finger Death Punch has announced the band will release the lead single from their forthcoming 2 new studio albums this Tuesday, May 14 via all digital retailers. The track, "Lift Me Up" (featuring Rob Halford of Judas Priest), which debuted with a performance of the band joined by iconic guest artist Halford live at Revolver Magazine's Golden Gods Awards Show, will hit the air on radio stations across the globe today. Singer Ivan Moody shares, "First and foremost, just to work alongside an icon like Rob Halford, THE Metal God, was absolutely surreal. The song itself was originally written about overcoming everyday obstacles and less than perfect situations. Most of us weren't born with a silver spoon in our mouth but if life dealt you all the wrong cards, you still have to play. The song's intent is to inspire; if you play that hand right you might just come out on top anyway"
"Lift Me Up" (featuring Rob Halford of Judas Priest) will be available online starting May 14

Five Finger Death Punch will release The Wrong Side Of Heaven And The Righteous Side Of Hell Volume 1 on July 23, while Volume 2 is scheduled for later this fall. Eleven Seven will release the albums outside of North America.Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Zoltan Bathory recently shared, "We came off the road after a couple of great years of touring and were really amped up to write the 4th record. Everybody was in the right headspace and the band tighter than ever soit was a perfect storm. We jumped in head first and found ourselves 12-13 songs deep fairly quick but were still coming up with better and better material so we looked at each other and said…. ok why stop there? Let's keep going. Once we passed the 24th song we knew we're going to have to do two albums. We had this massive amount of music that's very dear to us, possibly the bestmaterial this band has ever created. At that pointthere was no way to decide which songs to leave off one album. So we made thedecisionto release them all."
In June, Five Finger Death Punch will return to Europe for a tour of major festivals including Sweden Rock (6/06), Germany's Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park (6/08 and 6/09) and the U.K.'s Download Festival at Donington Park (6/16) (full schedule below) concluding the run with a performance at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Ceremony in London.
Upon the band's return to the U.S., the band will co-headline the 2013 Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival alongside Rob Zombie kicking off in San Bernadino, CA on June 29. The travelling festival will stage appearances in 26 markets, and the full itinerary can be viewed here:www.fivefingerdeathpunch.com/tour/
Five Finger Death Punch has released three consecutive RIAA gold certified albums through Prospect Park for sales exceeding 500,000 copies. The success ofThe Way of The Fist(2007),War Is The Answer(2009) andAmerican Capitalist(2011), which debuted at number 3 on the Billboard charts in October 2011, exhibits the band as one of the few in the rock genre to consistently see significant sales both digitally and physically. The band's ten consecutive Top 10 radio hits - including 2012's #1 hit"Coming Down -have spawned cumulative single sales of over 4.2 million. Going back to 2008’s "The Bleeding", Five Finger Death Punch has consistently been one of the most heavily played bands at rock radio.

Australia’s Airbourne have premiered an exclusive stream of their new album Black Dog Barking, exclusively over at Revolver Magazine. The album, which will be released May 21st via Roadrunner Records, was produced by Brian Howes and features the lead single “Live It Up.” Hailing from Warrnambool, a small drinking town on the southwestern coast of Victoria, Australia, Airbourne has steadily gained an immense following with their explosive live shows and main stage festival appearances. “A lot of thought and effort has gone into this record not only by the band, but by the production crew who worked countless hours, seven days a week, even through Christmas and New Year’s Eve to achieve the best possible performances, backed by real undying tones. Now we’re handing it over to you… so crank it up, crack a beer and stick some rock ‘n’ roll in your ear,” said the band.

Los Angeles-based indie rock trio Beware of Darkness are pleased to announce the release of their debut album titled Orthodox. Released this week (Tuesday, May 7th) through Bright Antenna Records, the long-awaited album follows the band's well-received Howl EP and is a body of work heavily clouded with imagery and inspiration drawn from literary figures such as Sylvia Plath, Emily Dickinson, and David Foster Wallace. Throughout Orthodox, chief songwriter and front man Kyle Nicolaides delivers scathing lyrical content in a snarling howl. Powered by the album's lead single, "Howl," a song that has cracked the Top 20 at Modern Rock Radio and will be performed live on Conan on Wednesday, May 15, Orthodox is incredibly potent and precise, a collection of songs whose lyrics are meant to evoke reactions.
Check out some behind-the-scenes footage from the band's very first trip to the UK that recently premiered on Purevolume.com.
Recorded at the Sound Factory and Valley Recorder in Hollywood, CA, executive produced and mixed by Dave Sardy (Oasis, LCD Soundsystem, Nine Inch Nails), and produced by Greg Gordon and front man Kyle Nicolaides, Orthodox proves itself to be a sensuous experience - aimed somewhere between the gut and dirty dive bar - but death, and its implications for the living, is wrestled with on nearly each of the album's twelve blistering tracks. Anticipation for the album has been building since the band released their beloved Howl EP last year that earned instant acclaim and launched the single "Howl," a song that has already hit Top 40 Rock Radio with over 26 stations playing it in regular rotation and whose video premiered on FUSE.
2013 is continuing to be a busy year for the members of Beware of Darkness - Kyle Nicolaides (vocals, guitar), Daniel Curcio (bass) and Tony Cupito (drums) - with "Howl" continuing to climb the alternative radio charts as well as forthcoming appearances on the Vans Warped Tour in the U.S. and dates in the UK and Europe. Having already shared the stage with the likes of Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, Social Distortion, Deftones, Silversun Pickups, Tegan and Sara, Metric, AWOLNATION and others, the band will add more names to the list with performances on Warped Tour, a string of radio festivals, and an upcoming tour through Europe with Smashing Pumpkins. See below for more information regarding the band's U.S. appearances through May and June.
BEWARE OF DARKNESS U.S. TOUR DATES:

Frontiers Records is pleased to announce Whitesnake's explosive new double live album “Made In Britain”/ “The World Record” – officially released in the UK on Monday 8th July. The 2-disc live set coincides with the news of Whitesnake's UK Arena Tour with Journey and Thunder which kicks off at Glasgow SECC on Saturday 18th May. During 2011 the mighty Whitesnake embarked on one of their most successful world tours in recent times, performing 96 shows in over 35 countries, starting in North America in May right the way through until the 2nd UK run in December. The request for another live album came from Whitesnake’s loyal fans - never ones for being notoriously shy about insisting what they want from their favourite musical reptiles. Before heading out on the Forevermore World Tour 2011, the decision was made to record every performance on the tour. After spending the early part of 2012 feverishly editing and mixing the Whitesnake: Made In Japan live DVD, the production team had the task of listening back to over 90 shows and 130 hours of 100% raw, muscular Whitesnake performances. “Made In Britain” and “The World Record” were inspired by the performances from 9 sold out UK concerts and 87 performances from around the world. CD 1 – “MADE IN BRITAIN” 1. Best Years 2. Give Me All Your Love Tonight 3. Love Ain’t No Stranger 4. Is This Love 5. Steal Your Heart Away 6. Forevermore 7. Love Will Set You Free 8. My Evil Ways 9. Fare Thee Well 10. Ain’t No Love In The Heart Of The City 11. Fool For Your Loving 12. Here I Go Again 13. Still Of The Night CD 2 – “THE WORLD RECORD” 1. Bad Boys 2. Slide It In 3. Lay Down Your Love 4. Pistols At Dawn 5. Snake Dance 6. Can You Hear The Wind Blow 7. Fare Thee Well 8. One Of These Days 9. The Badger 10. Deeper The Love 11. Soldier Of Fortune 12. Platinum Canadian genre-bending outfit, Down With Webster has now released the official video for their latest single, "One In A Million." The video, which was directed by Aaron A (Nelly Furtado, mynameiskay), gives fans a look into the DWW live experience. The band spoke about it stating, "we wanted to create a video that captured what the Down With Webster live experience is all about: energy and movement. The idea was to take imagery that resonated with the emotion of the song, and by blasting it on a larger than life scale with the band rocking out, we could unify and magnify them both."
"One In A Million" is now available through iTunes and will be on the band's upcoming release due out later this year. To stay up to date on all things Down With Webster, make sure to check out their official Facebook and Twitter pages for updates and upcoming tour dates in the US.

Nashville quartet The Features will release their self-titled and fourth full-length album on May 14th via Serpents and Snakes / BMG. This week they are streaming the record in full on PasteMagazine.com as they embark on a National tour in support of the album (available for pre-order on iTunes), kicking off Wednesday, May 8th in Philadelphia. Upcoming tour dates below. Stream The Features on PasteMagazine.com The band took a dramatic change of pace when it came to recording The Features, spending a spontaneous few weeks in Vancouver, WA outside of Portland at the cabin-esque confines of Ripcord Studios.
