Stutterfly Signed To Maverick

News from Canadian Emo quintet Stutterfly on their website:
"-We are happy to announce that stutterfly has officially signed with Maverick Records. Thank-you to everyone who has been there and supported us through it all. It has been a long and exciting 5 years as a band and there will be many more to look forward to.
The story goes this way...
We were flown down to LA in June to play for the president of Maverick Records at a little club called the Viper Room. After playing, we were informed that they liked the band and wanted to work with us. Together with our managers and lawyer we worked out an agreement and after a few weeks of negotiations we had a contract ready to sign, the contract which we just signed today. So get ready for some big stuff coming your way!
-We will be hitting the road with fellow Maverick Recording Artist, Story of the Year and Saosin for a month long trek across the U.S. starting on August 20th. Here are the confirmed dates thus far, keep checking this site for updates. After we return home we will be writing and recording material for our first Maverick Records release.
-We will be re-releasing our debut album, "Broken in Pieces..." for this tour on our newly started record label called Elysien Records with special edition artwork done by Chris Stickney and Kevin Moore and the video for our new song, Fire Whispers, directed by Vern Giammartino. Look for this at shows and later to be released in stores in Canada after our tour."
