Charismatic front man Alex Roy belts out lyrics that tell an animated story of hopes, dreams, lost and found love, and the desire to make music his life. Sparks The Rescue recorded their debut album, "Eyes To The Sun" in August 2008 and as soon as tracks were laid down, the buzz began. First to show support was Portland's biggest rock station, WYCC, by spinning the song "Autumn" 25 times a week, racking up over 300 spins and still counting. Next to take notice was the manager of Hawthorne Heights & Aiden along with booking giants, the William Morris Agency. With the buzz building, the band found a home on Fearless Records and set the release date for their anticipated album.
