Trey Lockerbie to release infectious Hummingbird EP
Trey Lockerbie has toured as a musician for the likes of Josh Kelley and Josh Hoge, but has always kept his own creative energy going as a songwriter. Lockerbie's debut, The Hummingbird EP, is set for release May 5 and features a modern pop sound accented by Lockerbie's deep-rooted influences of Jeff Buckley and Bob Dylan.
With the release, he is hoping to make some noise and build some momentum to put toward a full-length and also to do some more extensive touring. Meanwhile, Lockerbie is performing an industry showcase at Sullivan Hall in New York City on Friday, April 24. The 18+ event, which starts at 8pm, is open to the public and the ticket price is $10.
Lockerbie has performed as the support act for both Kelley and Hoge, as well as the likes of Keaton Simmons, Will Dailey and Yellowcard. In 2008, he performed at the Mosaic Music Festival in Singapore and has headlined shows at the Roxy in Los Angeless and The Canal Room in New York City.
"After listening to "The Hummingbird EP" you will no doubt believe that Trey Lockerbie eventually will get what he's after, and he's definitely ready for it now."—MusicCityUnsigned.com
