I'm thinking they released the EP to test the waters. If it does not sell well I'm afraid they might pull the plug on the album. They should have released it when he was still hot off Rock Star.

"Last Train Home" hasn't done much of anything at radio, which is mind baffling.
Hopefully Atlantic Records has something up their sleeves and gives him some promo.
