Frontiers Records is proud to announce the worldwide signing of Gregg Giuffria for a brand new solo album, which will mark the ultimate return of the world-class keyboard ace on the market!
Giuffria is ready to focus 100% on this new solo project, which is set to feature a lot of world-class musician friends that he will call on for guest spots.
The music style, promises Gregg, "...will be the hard/melodic rock that my fans are used to with the Angel, Giuffria and classic House of Lords releases". There will also be the inclusion of a cover version of a legendary Angel song The Tower, that will be sung by a very special guest which will be officially announced once the full line-up of the album will be completed.
The rest of the songs will be all new material written by Gregg, to include one instrumental song as well.
He will also produce and engineer some of the recording sessions, with celebrated producer Andy Johns (Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Rolling Stones etc.) handling the rest.
The idea came about when recently Gregg and long-time friend and producer Ken Ciancimino met for a dinner and talked about working on a solo CD. Ken tested the interest of Frontiers Records who immediately agreed to move on with a deal.
Gregg Giuffria will start recording the album in the fall 2003 and promises to deliver the album to the label "within this year". "I will be helped by Ken Ciancimino", adds the keyboard maestro, "who, as the executive producer, will coordinate the work and make sure that no delays will be possible." Frontiers Records plans to release the album in early summer 2004..
