Carolina Liar's Wild Blessed Freedom Out Now

Today acclaimed pop rock band Carolina Liar self-release their highly anticipated new album WILD BLESSED FREEDOM. Recorded with producers Max Martin (Katy Perry, Avril Lavigne, Pink), Shellback (Usher, Ke$ha) and Tobias Karlsson in Stockholm and Los Angeles, the album is the first independent release for the group, who made their major label debut in 2008 with Coming To Terms, a disc hailed by Rolling Stone for "fusing the anthemic elements of U2 and the Killers with the electro production of Swedish pop maestro Max Martin." Listen to WILD BLESSED FREEDOM all week long at AOL Music, MSN Music and PureVolume.com.

Carolina Liar recently teamed with VEVO to premiere the video for lead single "Drown." "Drown" is also being spotlighted in promos for the hit CBS-TV series Hawaii Five-0, and the band recently performed the song as part of a special set for DirecTV's Guitar Center Sessions, which will air later this fall. The band also shot a set for a Guitar Center podcast, which included an acoustic performance of new song "Me and You," which can be seen here.

On October 10th, the band (vocalist/guitarist Chad Wolf, lead guitarist Rickard Goransson, bassist/keyboardist Johan Carlsson and drummer Peter Karlsson) will launch a fall tour with Gavin DeGraw and David Cook that kicks off at the Newport Music Hall in Columbus, OH (see itinerary below).

The tour will see Carolina Liar playing an electrifying mix of fan favorites such as "Show Me What I'm Looking For" and "I'm Not Over," along with new tracks like "Drown" and "Beautiful People," which they just recorded with UK "X Factor" finalist Cher Lloyd for her upcoming album.

Fueled by Coming To Terms hit singles "I'm Not Over" and "Show Me What I'm Looking For," Carolina Liar blanketed both radio and television, generating nationwide airplay at modern rock and alternative while also appearing in shows such as The Vampire Diaries, American Idol, Gossip Girl, The Hills, and many more (MTV actually licensed the entire album). Spotlighted as an iTunes Single of the Week, "Show Me What I'm Looking For" logged more than 600,000 downloads and "I'm Not Over" shot to No. 3 on Billboard's Modern Rock Chart.

The LA-based band (vocalist/guitarist Chad Wolf, lead guitarist Rickard Goransson, bassist/keyboardist Johan Carlsson and drummer Peter Karlsson) toured endlessly in support of the album, sharing stages with the likes of One Republic, Rob Thomas and The Academy Is... They also performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live and The Ellen Degeneres Show, played themselves in an episode of 90210, were spotlighted as a Rolling Stone "Breaking" artist and were featured in both MTV's "Discover & Download" and VH1's "You Oughta Know" programs.
