Get tickets for Ryan Star on tour with Andy Grammer

News from Ryan:

The last 6 weeks have been amazing with the Goo Goo Dolls – Some of the best shows we have ever put on and some of the greatest new fans we have had the honor to meet. I’m writing this from the road as the band and I finish up the last few shows to get home in time for the holiday. Gonna work on the new album and rock into the new year.

Sometimes people are just handed things and success happens overnight, but I am proud to have paid my dues the harder and more fulfilling way. When I meet other musicians on the road that I know share my efforts to get here, I instantly feel a kinship. With that being said, I am pleased to announce dates with my friend Andy Grammer. Andy is climbing up the charts and is an incredible talent. I will be supporting Mr. Grammer at these following dates.

Did you know that?

Queen were originally called Smile. Singer Freddie Mercury came up with the new name for the band, later saying: "Years ago I thought up the name “Queen” … It’s just a name, but it’s very regal obviously, and it sounds splendid … It’s a strong name, very universal and immediate. It had a lot of visual potential and was open to all sorts of interpretations. I was certainly aware of gay connotations, but that was just one face of it."
