The Hives Release New Official Video For "Go Right Ahead" Online

The Hives have just released an official video for their single "Go Right Ahead" online. You can check it out on their YouTube channel via the link below. The concept? Howlin' Pelle Almqvist & the gang take charge of a Gotham-esque city with their very own Hives blimp. There's chaos & confusion, plenty of top hats, and possibly even some space exploration.
And in case you've been sleeping, the band's anticipated new album Lex Hives was just released this week. A few press quotes can be found below. Let me know if you haven't heard the new tunes yet.

Did you know that?

The Goo Goo Dolls initially consisted of John Rzeznik (vocals, guitar), Robby Takac (vocals, bass guitar) and George Tutuska (drums, percussion). While Takac and Tutuska had been long-time friends in school, Rzeznik was playing in the band The Beaumonts, with Takac’s cousin. The three founded the band under the name "Sex Maggots". However, when a club owner booked the band, he requested they change the name, as the local newspaper could not print their current name. The trio picked the current name out of a True Detective ad for a toy called a Goo Goo Doll.
