10 Years Reveal Official Music Video For "Backlash"; New Album Out August 7th

As 10 YEARS gear up for the August 7 release of their forthcoming album MINUS THE MACHINE, the group has premiered the video for the first single "Backlash" as well as an exclusive in-studio interview on FUSE TV. Watch the dark clip and interview HERE . The hard driving track also debuted at #35 on the Active Rock radio chart and continues to climb garnering more spins, hitting #27 this past week.

The group -- Jesse Hasek (Lead Vocals), Brian Vodinh (Guitar/Drums), Ryan "Tater" Johnson (Guitar/Screams) and Lewis Cosby (Bass) -- will release MINUS THE MACHINE on their own label Palehorse Records, a partnership with Warner Music Group's Independent Label Group (ILG). The disc is sonically powerful, haunting, and textured, while lyrically exposed, intimate, and personal; it truly represents the soul of 10 YEARS.

Minus the Machine will be the band's fifth studio album, following their successful 2010 release Feeding The Wolves, which broke into the Billboard Top 200 list at #12. Billboard proclaims "10 Years hits a sweet spot between rock and metal" and Outburn declares the band "succeeds at making solid rock songs with subtle unique touches and nuances."

Fans can pre-order the deluxe version of Minus The Machine right now on iTunes.

Did you know that?

Pink Floyd´s "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" is dedicated to the band´s former leader Syd Barret. Syd used to be the leader...until his schizophrenia and the LSD started to catch up with him, and he became rather insane. The band called David Gilmour, who had given Syd guitar lessons during high shool, and would cover for Syd during concerts, correcting his mistakes and filling in when he started playing along to a different tune. Syd eventually got more and more distanced of the band and David got to be the lead guitarist, but lots of the insanity themes they sing about is related to their former bandmate.
