BOYCE AVENUE Announce April 15th Release for New Album and Tour Launch

Boyce Avenue, who hold the distinction of being THE most-watched indie band on YouTube with over 2 billion views, have chosen April 15th as the release date for their much-anticipated album, ROAD LESS TRAVELED. Not coincidentally, April 15th is also the kickoff date for their headlining tour of North America, which hits the ground running at the Vogue Theatre in Vancouver, BC. The full itinerary is below and ticket info can be found on the band’s official site,

Boyce Avenue—comprised of brothers Alejandro (lead vocals, guitar, piano), Fabian (guitar, vocals) and Daniel (bass, percussion, vocals)—recently teamed with PEOPLE magazine for the release of lead single “Be Somebody,” which can be heard HERE. “Be Somebody” was recorded with the Espionage production team, whose credits include Beyonce’s “Irreplaceable” and Train’s “Hey Soul Sister.” The track was mixed by Mark Endert (Maroon 5, Gavin DeGraw).

Today they’re giving fans another sneak preview of ROAD LESS TRAVELED with the release of second track “Family,” which can be heard HERE. ROAD LESS TRAVELED will be available for pre-order beginning February 12th.

Boyce Avenue have performed on Good Morning America, were hailed by Billboard when they “outdid Beyonce & won the internet,” were praised by MTV, who pointed out “7 Reasons the Entire Internet’s Obsessed with Boyce Avenue and Why You Should Be, Too,” and were just spotlighted as one of “YouTube’s Top 30 Influencers” by the Hollywood Reporter.

The band’s roots can be traced back to 2004, when Daniel graduated from Harvard Law School and moved back to Florida where Fabian and Alejandro were both attending classes at the University of Florida. It was then that the brothers started to play together, write music and start the formative steps toward becoming Boyce Avenue.

In 2007, they started posting videos on YouTube – clips that saw them performing both covers and originals. The videos resonated instantly, and to date the band’s YouTube channel has amassed over 2.35 BILLION views and over 7.9 million subscribers, making them the official Guinness World Record Holders of the title “Biggest Independent Band on YouTube” (ranked by subscribers above artists like Shakira, Ed Sheeran, Pitbull and Lady Gaga). The band has also amassed over a half-million Twitter followers, almost 3 million Facebook subscribers, and close to a quarter-million Instagram followers, forging a lasting and passionate digital fan base that have followed Boyce Avenue’s every move for years.

In 2010, the band released their major label debut album, All We Have Left, through Universal Republic Records, featuring the single “Every Breath.” It quickly became apparent that the major label system didn’t yet understand a unique band like Boyce Avenue, who elected to leave the label and re-release the album themselves directly to their rabid fans. Since then the band has released all of their music through their wholly owned 3 Peace Records and have sold in excess of 10 million singles and 500 million streams to date, making them one of the most successful independent labels in the world.

Not content to simply interact with their fans in the digital world, Boyce Avenue has found tremendous success as a live touring band throughout their career and have sold over a half-million tickets in 25 countries and 5 continents to date (including the United States, Canada, Australia, Asia, Brazil, Europe and the United Kingdom). Their upcoming North American tour follows dates in India, the Philippines and Europe.
