Surviving August?s lead singer Patrick Ryan Clark is recording a solo album and has inlisted Jackopierce?s Cary Pierce to produce the album. The album will feature members of Vertical Horizon, Goo Goo Dolls, Doobie Brothers and Cary Pierce. The cd is slated to release in May ?06 on Foreverything Records.

I?m really excited to see what he can do solo. I was a big fan of Surviving August, so I was pretty disappointed to hear they broke up, but hopefully Patrick can make a great solo CD. With Vertical Horizon, Goo Goo Dolls, Doobie Brothers and Cary Pierce all lending a hand, it should make for an excellent album, but we?ll have to wait and see. I?m really looking forward to it.
