Review

Arkansas based indie rock band Deas Vail aint laying on the sofa, this 5 piece band led by the married couple Wes and Laura Blaylock, have released 3 full length albums and 3 EP´s since the 2006. The self titled "Deas Vail" is their latest album and it contains 12 tracks that goes in the same vein as Mae, Copeland and Death Cab For Cutie. I think Deas Vail was more of a piano driven band on the brilliant "All the houses look the same" from 2007. The songs are far more guitar oriented on the 2011 album but the album is still just as beautiful as their previous work, it takes a few times to get into this album but the music slowly grows and it truly gets better for each time I hear it. Highly recommendable!

When "Stairway To Heaven" is played backwards, you can hear the phrase "oh here´s to my sweet satan..the one who´s little path would make me sad, whose power is satan..he´ll give you give you 666 there was a little toolshed where he would make us suffer, sad in the part of "if there´s a bustle..."
