Now this album came as a surprise to me, Life on Planet 9 features members of the modern rock band Lo-Pro but this album goes in a completely different direction soundwise. We´re talking ambient, dreamy, epic and acoustic based songs that breathes the prog of Camel, the melancholy of Vast and the electronic rock of Filter. I think "Bittersweet" is a wonderful album that grows for each spin, fans of Lo-Pro might not appreciate it the same way but listen to the album with an open mind and you´ll be in love. This is almost ecstasy!
Counting Crows comes from old English nursery rhyme which had to do with predicting the future from the numbers of birds seen. Lead Singer Adam Duritz liked the rhyme.
