Review

Through Fire is new act on the modern metal scene. Behind the band, however, is none other than Justin McCain (guitar), Jesse Saint (bass) and Patrick Mussack (Drums). who was also members of the now defunct band, Emphatic. In this new setting, they has also been helped by Grant Joshua Kendrick (Lead vocals) who took over after Toryn Green, who also sang on Emphatics last album, Another Life (2013) as well as Fuel's 2007 album, Angels & Devils.
Stylistically, there are obvious similarities between these bands, but would say that Through Fire is somewhat harder, a bit like Adelitas Way, Like a Storm and Burn Season. And quality wise, would say that this band is worth mentioning as this consistent album with several peaks.. Just listen to "Breathe," "Stronger" and "Breakout" all of which have singe potential. Do however think that there are at best on edgier harder and NUMETAL fragrant as in both "Take It All Away" and "Dead Inside" which makes me think of the cool act, Depswa.
So if you like the bands I compared them with, Breathe a given album to check up even if it doesn’t break any new ground.
