Review

I hope the bad luck for Beggars and Thieves turns into good luck for their comeback album "We are the broken hearted", this band released a mighty fine debut on Atlantic Records in 1990 and then recorded their 2nd album "Look whatyou create"in 1991 which unfortunately got lost in the grunge era and wouldn´t get released until 1997 on MTM Music. It was a well written album but rarely recognized in the big world, the band led by vocalist Louie Merlino and guitarist Ronnie Mancuso put out another album in 1999 before they split up. Now 12 years later, Merlino and Mancuso returns with a great comeback album that took me by surprise. This is without doubt their best album so far, Merlino shows what a brilliant singer he is on the entire album and all the songs are filled with lots of heart and soul. This one deserves to be a big seller, just listen to excellent classic rock tracks like "Oil and water", "Midnight blue", "We are the broken hearted" and "Never gonna see you again". For fans of Riverdogs, Diving For Pearls and Bon Jovi (Keep The Faith album).

Did you know that?

KISS drummer Eric Carr died on the same day as Freddie Mercury from Queen.
