Review

Here is an album that you guys and girls who like modern singer songwriters need to check out. The Swedish 37 year old Simo Elvnäs delivers a really solid piece of plastic with strong melodies, lyrics and hisdistinctive soothing and smooth style vocals. Really impressive. Everything produced in a very good way by Glen Scott who've worked with Eric Bibb, Ron Sexsmith, Stephen Simmonds and Sarah Dawn Finer to name a few. If you like names like Gary Jules, Matt Nathanson and Joe Henry will have a friend in this guy and his music. The duet "I Will Change It All" with Frida Öhrn is one of the most beautiful songs coming from Sweden for a long time.

Did you know that?

Sahaj of RA held the record for longest single note, for a male vocalist, in a song, having held a high B for 24 seconds. He was overtaken by Jan Werner Danielsen of Norway with 28 seconds in his live version of Nella Fantasia. This record breaker can be heard on Ra´s live album, Raw, on the track "Skorn". Sahaj Ticotin overtook the previous record of 20.2 seconds which was held by Morten Harket, the lead singer of a-ha, in the song, "Summer Moved On".
