Review

Back in 2001 - Joe released in my opinion the best album of that year - "Scar". It is still a masterpiece and since then he's been a real favorite of mine. Both as an artist and as a producer. His production of Solomon Burke's 2002 album "Don't Give Up On Me" is nothing less than world wide class and was the big comeback for the old soullegend. Anyway - this is the 13th album from Joe (incl EP's) and I'm happy to say that it is one of his best to date. And with that said you all understand the quality the album sits on. The production sits on such a nerve, and Joes unique voice combined with his sense for lyrics and melodies are just awesome. If you are a fan of Joe - just buy the album. If you for some weird reason missed this man and his music and like a unique mix of Tom Waits, Marc Jordan and Daniel Lanois you will have a friend for life in this man and his music. Awesome.
