Review

There are moments on this EP when I think of Ryan Stevenson as a modern Richard Marx but don´t be fooled that it´s a pure pop/rock/AOR album because I´d rather describe Ryan´s music as Gavin DeGraw meets Hellogoodbye. Think a mix of R&B, electropop and contemporary rock and you´ll get "Yesterday, today, forever", it´s a polished sounding EP made for the dance floor (well for the mature folks then). But then again, a song like "Into the sun" could´ve been a song penned by Richard Marx. The single "We got the light" along with the opener "Yesterday, today, forever" are my favorites here, this is a solid piece of work and I bet Ryan will release something equally good in spring when his full length debut comes out.

Tracklisting 1. Yesterday, Today, Forever
2. No One Ever
3. Let The Praises Rise
4. In The Sun
5. We Got The Light
6. We Got The Light (Remix)

Did you know that?

Love Hate was a melodic hard rock/AOR band before changing direction on the sensational debut "Blackout in the red room"
