Review

Chicago based The Super Happy Fun Club features members of Lucky Boys Confusion, Treaty of Paris, Logan Square and One Life. Their debut "Go fun yourself" is a solid album of catchy pop punk tunes which as a genre also can be referred as pop/rock or powerpop, I don´t mind. The opener "My life´s a mess" is one of the highlights along with the rocking "London", the short 50 seconds long "Billy the entertainer" is quite funny but it´s more cool than good. The closing track "Invincible" sounds a bit like something that The Rembrandts" could´ve released, all in all a melodic album worth checking out.

Tracklisting 1. My Life's A Mess (Yeah Yeah Yeah)
2. Victims
3. London
4. Generation
5. Billy the Entertainer
6. Partners in Crime
7. Light Pollution
8. Invincible

Did you know that?

The band “311” was named after the “exact time the band formed.”
