Review

If you want some serious great six string work, then you should purchase Philip Sayce´s new album "Steamroller" when it drops on Feb 24th. This guy is the real deal, Sayce has played with Jeff Healey and Melissa Etheridge as well as supported Deep Purple. His first solo album "Peace machine" came out in 2009 which was followed by "Innerevolution" in 2010 and the live album "Ruby electric" in 2011. Sayce is influenced by guitar greats such as Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaghan and Jimi Hendrix so we´re talking bluesy riff oriented 70´s rock here for fans of Led Zeppelin,Joe Bonamassaand Lenny Kravitz. This is a really great album where the highlights are "Stung by a woman", "Marigold" and the instrumental "Aberstwyth", crank it up folks!

Did you know that?

The Eagles originally named "Teen King And The Emergencies," they liked the American sound of Eagles and the way it was aligned with The Byrds who had a great influence on them.
