Call Me No One is Clint Lowery and Morgan Rose from Sevendust new projects. With them is also Rek Mohr (Hurt) on bass and Shinedown’s touring guitarist Alan Price on guitar. And of course there are similarities between those guys and Sevendust as both of them offer large and powerful melodies. However, Call Me No One is more melodic and has replaced the metal to hardrock, which means that they’re somewhat more commercial. Personally I think that they balanced it perfectly musically as they never gets soft and dull in any way. Also believe that most of their old fans will like it because it feels like a natural evolution of what we heard before from them. You will find some similarities to the mighty "Season" record, but also a certain portion of Shinedown and Alter Bridge, which means that it is both heavy and melodic.
I am also impressed with the song material here that is really strong. The opening tracks "The World Is Dead" and "Thunderbird†are both impressive and all fans of tougher Modern Rock will love those for sure. The quieter tracks "All's Well" and "Broken" is also on top and show that the band masters several types of tempo and melodies.
So if you like Modern Rock mixed with some Metal like bands I compared them with, this is an album that you should get without a doubt!
