Has since Angels & Airwaves debut from 2006 been a big fan of their epic Modern Rock. Really love their progressive melodies and awesome songs that I think has had very little success on the charts and radio compared to how good they are. They should have equal status with 30 Seconds to Mars, where there have clear similarities in terms of both music and quality.
This third album since "Love Part One & Part Two"is as the title says a double album consisting of the two "Love" releases which only came out in digital form. Is very happy that they got a "real" release because it is a masterful collection and perhaps the best band delivered so far. It’s a little fun as the band released it on their own label To the Stars Records that probably have them more creative freedom than when they being on Geffen.
Tracks like "Behold a Pale Horse", "The Flight Of Apollo" and "Hallucinations" is crazy good and as I said, maybe the best thing they've done so far. More good tracks are here of course and likes that the band have added a couple of instrumental tracks that "Love Part One & Part Two" a stylish and convenient setting.
The future of the band seems uncertain now that Tom DeLonge is back in Blink 182, but can only hope that it is not the last we heard from Angels & Airwaves!
