Review

Brutai sounds like it´s a heavy band and ohyes, they are. But at the same time, they are also very melodic and more interesting than most metal bands out there.
Born is a very suitable title of their full length debut, the metal scene can now witness the birth of an innovative and technical 5 piece from London, U.K. The band, featuring Felix Lawrie-Vocals/Guitars, Henry Ryan-Guitars, Alex Lorimer-Keyboards/Vocals, Christian Sturgess-Bass and Mathieu Bauer-Drums, will keep the listener in a firm grip from the album opener Relapse to the majestic closing track The Border.
Even though Born is mostly a metal album, you will find traces of post hardcore, pop and progressive rock in these 10 tracks. How about Periphery meets Enochian Theory with a touch of 3 and you´ll get Brutai. Now you truly need to remember the name of this band because with impressive songs like Dear Emily, Deep and The Border, you can´t afford to miss out on this new force of metal.

Did you know that?

Dave Grohl (Nirvana, Foo Fighters) has Bonzo´s (Led Zeppelin´s drummer) symbol, three intersecting symbols tattooed on his forearm.
