The Killers - Battle Born

Artist discography

If you like: U2, Muse, Coldplay

The Killers are one of those bands that really have the potential to be one of the future big stadium bands. Actually believe that they are already there through this new and very well made album; and of course their old records. Maybe it will not reach the same sales figures and buzz  as on the debut "Hot Fuss", but this is for me their best and most consistent album. Tracks like "Flesh & Bone", "Runaways" and "The Way It Was" is the magic well and shows how arena rock 2012 must be presented.
Unlike the previous albums, much of the new wave influences away. Now they are more of a pure rock band with big, but thoughtful melodies like a modern version of U2.
Cannot give it a perfect rating as there are some more standard tracks on the second half, but overall this is the "Battle Born" a very successful collection of songs that have taken the band to a new level.
