We're gonna add some classic cuts from the old days when Melodic.net was called Midwestern Skies. So please enjoy. This one is from 1997...

Bodragaz is a Denver-based all original melodic rock/AOR band that has released their second album. This was produced by Ian Gilchrist and lead vocalist Michael Layer and done it very good. Bodragaz has done a very nice album and they have a very own sound that makes this album very intresting. The 2 first tracks I Will Not Forget You and Peculiar People are the two best tracks on this album. This tracks are very AORish with nice choruses. She Smiled is a acoutstic semiballad, very similar to the second Nouveaux album. The whole album makes me think of the second Nouveaux album. You´re The One is a nice acoustic rocker with great harmonyvocals. The harmonyvocals are great over the whole album. The second part of the album is not as good as the first. The sound moves more into 90´s influenced Pop/Rock. Not that the songs are bad but not as good as the first part of the album. As I said they have a very own sound. Acts that comes in mind is Nouveaux´s second album and the third Sure Conviction album.

Did you know that?

The Pixies was selected randomly from a dictionary by guitarist Joey Santiago. The band took a liking to the word´s definition, "mischievous little elves". The name was shortened from the original, "Pixies In Panoply".
