Sinister Love is the new EP from Eric Reitz. I remember reviewing his first album 12 (South) a while back and that they guy had potential.
This EP starts with the song "Everybody's Dressing Up", which is a nice song. Reitz has a great voice, sounding like a blend of Paolo Nutini and James Morrison, which is never a bad thing in my book! Overall this is a solid EP with some nice tunes. My favorite track is the last, "Breaking" which is just a great tune.
The only thing I can complain about is that on some songs Reitz's voice tend to blend too much in to the background. For example the song "City Lights", there are moments when Reitz's vocals are almost drowned out by the instruments.
Anyways, this is a solid EP and if you liked his previous effort this is a must-buy. Fans of mention Paolo Nutini and James Morrison should also look into this. Nothing groundbreaking, just nice music. Sometimes that is all that you need.
