Review

Cartel from Conyers, Georgia was formed in 2003 so they've been around for a while. The current members of the band include vocalist/guitarist Will Pugh, lead guitarist Joseph Pepper, bassist Nic Hudson, and drummer Kevin Sanders. On their fourth fullength they deliver the same sort of sweet modern rockpunk that we are used to. Music perfect for modern american collegemovies. For my personal taste this type of music feels a little dated even if the band is good on what they're doing. No doubts about that. But if Cartel will be a band for the future they need to develop themselves a bit and think outside the box. This is just music done by the book - standard A1. Well done but without any surprises.
