Review

House of Gold & Bones - Part 2 is the fifth studio album by Stone Sour, and also the final part of the House of Gold & Bones concept album. Often find that when bands decide to do these types of split albums they do not really hold throughout. This is no exception and I think part 1 is clearly better. Do unfortunately think that there are way too many tracks here that are similar and also somewhat anonymous.
But as Stone Sour is one of the best bands in the alternative metal scene so we don’t get a bad album at all. Tracks like "Black John" and "The Uncanny Valley" would both easily have fitted on the mighty predecessor and we got a couple of more good tunes here.
If you take the best tracks from these two albums so we have a magical good album, completely flawless from uninteresting tracks. Now we get instead one very good album and one ok, which I guess is very acceptable after all.
