This folks is a very exciting new band. Ok, they?re not pure new since they did an album back in 2000 called Origin, which unfortunately is out of print these days. But I guess that most people haven?t heard about these forthcoming stars before! I want to call this forthcoming stars since they should be really big if there?s any logic, which we all that it?s all the time, nah! Ok, there?s quite hard to say what band that will break through or not, but Evanescence is really unique in their style with the crystal clear voiced female vocalist in Amy Lee and the goth influenced melodic numetal rock. An unique sound is important, but you got to have good songs also and that has this band for sure. The first single ?Bring me to life? with Paul McCoy from 12 Stones on guest vocals is the lead song for the Daredevil soundtrack and should give them plenty of attention to ?reach out?. Other edgier rockers that stands out are the 6th one ?Tourniquet? and ?My last breath?, which both could be out as singles in the future. If their rockier side is really awesome I have to say that their softer side isn?t far behind. Just listen to the lovely ?My Immortal? and you will figure out what I?m saying. It doesn?t get any more beautiful than that! A buy or die record!
