Review

Normally I’m not a big fan of Country music, but when it has a certain Southern Rock touch, I got interested. This debut from Buck Johnson is such an album that really breathes of positive energy and good times. That It’s filled with really strong songs comes to no surprise as Buck is a very talented songwriter and has worked with the likes of Santana, John Waite, The Doobie Brothers, and Timothy B. Schmit. He is now also the current keyboard player and background singer in Aerosmith, so we're talking about a great musical talent.
Tracks like "Country Rockin '& Reelin," "Southern Belle" and "Let It Rain" is really top class here and really makes me want to rent a car and travel through the United States and play Enjoying the Ride really loud. Even the more pure country smelling tracks "Slow Summer Night" and the "American Way" are good tunes that makes this is album worth checking up.
