Review

Watching the news will only make you feel down, so here´s a good advice coming from one who knows, stop watching the news on TV and also stop reading them on your smartphone.
Music on the other hand, will make you happy. It can get you in a state of euphoria or just make you smile, making it a lot easier to get through the day. Especially if it´s Monday and you have the whole week of work ahead of you.
Take for instance, the Danish band New Politics and their 4th album "Lost in translation". Listening to these songs is like drinking a big glass of fresh orange juice full of vitamin C. I feel the energy flowing through my body while listening to songs like "CIA", "One of us" and "Madeleine".
Rivers Cuomo of Weezer is guesting on the electro-power-tune "Tell your dad", a groovy and infectious song that sounds like single release.
"Lost in translation" is a deep dive into 70´s pop and 80´s new wave, New Politics are flirting with Dexys Midnight Runners in "Madeleine". What a charming song.
My Chemical Romance meets Elton John in "One Of Us", one of the best songs on the new album along with the awesome opening track "CIA". This addictive song bring thoughts to cool bands like Ima Robot and Oh No Ono.
Great album!
