Review

Michael Barnes and the Armstrong brothers, Anthony and Randy, wanted to step away from the ordinary formula of orchestral arrangements and active rock choruses on their 6th album "Gone". So they´re both heavier and more poppy on the new album that features electronic elements as well as pop-oriented choruses that will please the Millenials.
"Gone" is a great pop/metal album that has it´s highlights just as it has a couple of letdowns such as the unnecessary cover of "Unstoppable" (Sia) and the title track "Gone", I´m just waiting for the remix from Avicii on this pop song.
But Red is also showing some muscles on "Gone" like the massive "Still alive" and the flirt with Muse on the epic "Singularity".
I won´t say that it´s equally good as the 2015 album "Of beauty and rage" but "Gone" is without doubt an album worthy the name Red.
