Review

Blue Apollo are a pop/rock band from Dallas, Texas. The band is Luke Nassar - Guitar/Vocals, Rodman Steele - Bass, Jeremiah Jensen - Drums and they released their debut EP "Light-footed hours" in 2016, followed by the single "Circles" in 2017.
Blue Apollo are working on a new EP to be released in 2018 but let´s focus on their first EP that is a nice blend of indie-pop, soul and FM rock.
They are influenced by artists like John Mayer and Maroon 5 but in my ears, Blue Apollo sounds more like Blessid Union of Souls meets Evan and Jaron, perfect as a soundtrack for the TV series Gilmore Girls.
The best track is "Avalanche" that bring thoughts to Nik Kershaw, the rest is well performed but perhaps a bit too comfy and safe.
A good start anyhow.
