Review

Betty Who has returned and brings along with her Betty PT 1.

Betty PT 1 opens up with 'Just Thought You Should Know'. This track has that 80's power pop flare that made me fall for Bettys music years ago. It was nice to hear her return to roots and really take off on this piece. If you are a fan of her debut 2014 album Take Me When You Go you will totally dig this jam.

'Taste' is a somewhat edgy modern day pop song that has a dash of attitude while 'Look Back' reminded me a lot of  'All That She Wants' by Ace Of Base.

'Ignore Me' and 'Friend Like Me' are songs I couldn't really get into as I felt they seemed out of touch with the others.

Overall my thoughts on this EP are mixed just like her 2017 album The Valley.    Betty PT 1 left me wanting more and I felt it could have been just that as well. From what I can gather it seems Betty is branching out to a really modern pop all around sound with slight traces of paying respects to her roots. Hopefully the direction yet alone message in the next part will be made more clearly for all to see.

If you wish to stay in touch with Betty Who you can find her on various social media and music streaming platforms.
