Review

ORANGO from Norway is a band worth checking out if you want 70’s sounding groovy rock with some hard rock vibes. They come on like a small armored vehicle with influences that could come from JIMI HENDRIX, but also more modern groove rockers (I can’t give you any good examples here).

The band is very energetic and sometimes the groove is like a massive fog! This is so cool. At the same time the band adds great harmony vocals here and there, which proves high quality all over. Songs I’d like to recommend: the softer “Sundown”, the also rather soft “Talkin’ ‘bout you”, “Easy street” with its bluesy beat and “Soulville”. Well, quite a lot good songs, simple as that. Good variation too! There is a “Colonial militia vol. 1” as well. Better check it out soon.
