Review

Greek guitar player CONSTANTINE is well worth more than a brief listening if you like “guitar heroes”. Well, OK there’s only one instrumental song (which is the guitar hero tradition) but still. So the main part of this album contains vocals, and among his guests there are RALF SCHEEPERS (PRIMAL FEAR), BJÖRN “Speed” STRIDH (SOILWORK) for example. More below.

Stylewise this is mainly melodic metal or uptempo melodic hard rock. Constantine’s playing is what I like best here, since he’s worth to be discovered by more listeners.

Among the best songs, at least according to my own preferences, there is “Press on regardless” where the arrangement leaves some space. The singing of Ralf Sheepers is also really good here. I’ll say about the same thing about “Another day” where the tempo is a bit downscaled, which I like. Good vocals here as well, by fellow Greek APOLLO PAPATHANASIO of SPIRITUAL BEGGARS.

Please forgive me for not making comparisons with other bands and artists here, but my knowledge in melodic metal is too poor. I just wanted to recommend this album, since it is above average.
