Review

Anything from uptempo power metal to tough AOR is what you get when the ashes of REINXEED has risen and become MAJESTICA! You’re in for a ride…

“Rising tide” is true flag waving power metal almost in the “Viking metal” vein. Same goes for “The way to redemption”. Some HAMMERFALL in the former, although more powerful and with more keyboards. Talking about keyboards: quite a lot of ROYAL HUNT in “The rat pack”! Good stuff. Royal Hunt comes to mind in “Future land” too.

Occasionally they march towards AOR, and on this album this is personalized in “Night call girl”. But the power metal is what rules this album, no doubt. A song that you must not miss is “Father time – where are you now” which includes a lot! Awesome arrangements with a flirt with “Bohemian Rhapsody” (QUEEN) but many other impressive ingredients, including humoresque moves. Those of you who really like this genre should check this good band right away. You will really like it! As for an AOR:ster like me, the clattering drums is a bit too much.
