Review

I have not settled down after the brilliant Outland album yet before I listened to this Swedish act. Blind Alley is a new
AOR sensation from Sweden for sure. They came out from nowhere but these guys has released an album called "On
The Way" a couple of years ago but this new one blows that away for sure.
Even though this is an independent release, the production is huge and is stronger than many of the AOR releases that comes
out today.
If you?re into AOR like Crystal Blue, Promotion, T?Bell, Urban Tale, Asia and Talk Of The Town then this will please your
needs for a long time. The arrangements reminds very much of A.C.T.
Blind Alley has 3 lead singers(I think) that shows that they are high class singers all of them.
This album never gets boring because they have a big variation in the songs.
Again the keyboards is the instrument that hooked me up, very pompish.
First time Urban Tale comes in mind is on "One Life", this song reminds so much of the debut album from them.
"S.O.S" is brilliant with the pompish keyboards that sounds like a more AORish A.C.T and when you come to the chorus
they deliver pure 80?s Asia and the background vocals are powerful. You won?t come closer to AOR heaven than this.
If you?re into AOR/POMP then check out "Shadow From My Heart". I?m stunned how damn fantastic this band sounds.
If "S.O.S" was AOR heaven I don?t know what this is because this song is one of the purest AOR songs I have heard from
a swedish act. This is a song you will jump of exctasy to,play air-keyboards and shouting the chorus. Why hasn?t nobody
discovered this amazing band to give them a record deal????? Well, I?m pretty sure that it won?t take long before some of
the AOR labels will sign Blind Alley.
"Hunter" shows a tougher side of the band. The guitarriffs are superb and be ready for an absolutely amazing chorus with
great harmonies and hooklines. Yet again the band shows how fantastic singers they are.
This is pure AOR stuff that came out of nowhere and surprised me big time. If you want to discover this new sensation then go to
their MP3 site and listen to their songs.
It?s gonna be interesting to see which label that will sign this band first.
First Outland and now Blind Alley and they are a living proof that high class AOR is still alive.
Go and grab a copy of this pure AOR album.
