New Jersey-based 40 Below Summer released their first album in 1998 and but after some struggles the band broke up in 2006. Now they're reunited and back with the album "Fire At Zero Gravity". Musically it's quite brutal nu metal with both screamo and vocals baked into the package. The sound is fat with a quite complexed and progressive undertone. Imagine a mix between Drowning Pool, Mastodon, Slipknot and Fear Factory and you're quite near the sound. A good and solid album in the genre.
