Review

I surfed into absolutepunk.net and stumbled across a world of emo/punk/modern rock bands I have never heard of,it must be thousands of bands out there and most of them are ofcourse nothing to waste time over checking out.
However in all the dirt, something shiny comes up and this duo by the name of Jamison Parker has a style of their own doing acoustic punkpop,it reminds a bit of Goo Goo Dolls but not that much.
With rawer guitars, their music would be typical modern punkpop but since they?re using acoustic guitars I feel the songs are so much more charming.
Jamison and his friend Parker recorded this 5-track EP on their own at their house and it sounds a bit homemade,it?s the drumsound that takes down the rating a bit but the rest is ok.
The songs "Dead the to the world" and "Your song" stand out being a little extra,I hope that someone will discover their talents and give them money to hire a producer so they can work with a larger budget because a wellproduced full length album with this duo could be the career ride they need.
Jamison Parker will be touring with Coheed and Cambria in January and things could be much worse since that band is overhyped now.
