Review

Illuminate is the second effort from the six man strong band David Crowder Band. Their debut ?Can you here us? from 2002 was a nice collection of songs with a cool mix of acoustic based rock and more produced pop with drum loops and keyboards.
This album ?Illuminate? from last year follows the same musical path as the debut and deserves a couple of lines for it?s good line up of songs. The first half of the album is stronger with a little more electric sound compared to the acoustic second part. Songs like ?Revolutionary love?, ?Open skies? and ?No one like you? are all recommendable songs and proof of what a talented songwriter and melody maker David Crowder is.
But I?m not sure that this album would fit all of you readers cause this is a Worship record with a strong Christian message. But if you have nothing against that, this is a nice super melodic record (like always from those Christian artist) that is worth checking up with a handful of great songs on his debut.
