10 years!!!! That?s how long it?s been since Tesla?s last album "Bust A Nut" was released and then the band called it quits for a while since their label Geffen wanted to promote Nirvana more and not giving Tesla any back up at all.
I keep blaming Tesla for the huge trend of making unplugged albums because they were the ones who made it popular with their "Five Man Acoustical Jam" from 1990. That was a good album but unfortunately every single hard rock band wanted to do the same thing and all of a sudden the "fun" of hearing an unplugged album was gone.

This new record "Into The Now" is the band?s 5th studio album and it goes in the same vein as the previous albums with classy melodic hard rock somewhere between Aerosmith and Guns N Roses.

Some people may think they have gone a bit modern sounding but I don?t think so. This is the way Tesla sounded back in the heyday so the fans will be pleased.

I just love the 2nd track "Look @ me" coz that one rocks like a tank overloaded with ammo and overall this is a solid piece of work that will take the band into the now.
