Motorcycle hardrock from Philadelphia, here?s Octane.....but they do not sound like Judas Priest and Saxon if you think of Motorcycle metal coz this 5 piece band from the east coast of USA sounds more like a hardrock version of Chevelle and Taproot. Rock with muscles and hair on their chests is what Octane delivers on their new album "When all is said and done",in fact they opened up for Judas Priest on July 26th in their hometown so I guess they had a good night sleep after that show. The music smells beer and sweat a long way and if want some gasoline in your Chevrolet instead of the usual octane you?re using, this new Octane album will get your motor running for extra more miles. In this genre I prefer a band like Plank 63 more and you?ll be reading my review of their new album real soon at melodic.net. Octane does a fine job, nothing more.
